Engage Researchers

EAI was motivated by a group of Italian researchers to make diplomacy more transparent and better educate citizens on international issues.

International Relations Center

EAI’s vision has always been to serve a dual purpose: on the one hand, it would meet the needs of institutions and companies that are part of the international context, training their employees and providing them with specialized knowledge; on the other hand, it would provide students with a keen knowledge of international affairs.

The EAI opened its doors led by group of professors. According to EAI Director of Continuing Education, “The key to empowerment is lifelong learning. Equal access to high quality education and training is a powerful way to redistribute wealth in a society. a high standard of basic education and access at all ages to training and skills development. We also need to find new ways of learning for a society that is becoming increasingly mobile and digital, as well as providing the right mix of ‘soft skills’ , notably entrepreneurship as well as robust digital skills, as 90% of all jobs require at least some level of digital skills.”

EAI has a long tradition of research and public and private service in the field of international relations. Its International Relations Center seeks to promote and develop research and teaching in the areas of International Relations (IR) and Global History. Scholars associated with the Center explicitly emphasize empirical work that is conceptually informed. They take great advantage of their location within the EU, where related areas of faculty expertise include business, history, sociology, anthropology and political science.
